Q I am an individual consumer or builder. Can I purchase your products?
A The Hearth & Home Technologies - Alsip RDC only sells it's products to Authorized Dealers that in turn resell to consumers and builders. If you are interested in our products, see our Contact Us page for information on finding a dealer in your area.

Q How do I become an Authorized Dealer with your company?
A Contact our Sales Department and our outside sales representative who is responsible for your area will be happy to meet with you. They will provide you with the information you need to establish your account and provide the product information specific to your business requirements.

Q Why should I buy from a distributor instead of directly from the manufacturer?
A As a distributor, we provide many value added functions that benefit both our manufacturers and our dealers. Our main function is to purchase quality products in truckload quantities, warehouse that product, and make it available to our dealers in the quantities they need, when they need it. This allows our dealers to maximize inventory turns and cash flow, lower inventory shrinkage due to loss or damage, spread or eliminate freight costs across several product lines, and reduce the incidence of dead merchandise due to overstocks or discontinued items. Along with these benefits, we also offer a support staff that is much more in tune with our local markets than a national manufacturer can be.
Q What geographical area does the Alsip RDC distribute its products to?
A Our primary areas of distribution are the states of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. We also reach the upper peninsula and southwestern regions of Michigan, northern Kentucky, eastern Missouri, and eastern Iowa for select product lines. We have a dedicated outside sales staff that travel all of these regions to service our dealers.

Q How does the Alsip RDC ship its products?
A We ship most orders on our own fleet of trucks on regularly scheduled routes. Our standard delivery area covers a 150 mile radius from Alsip, IL which includes the Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, Madison, WI, Rockford, IL, Gary, IN, and South Bend, IN metro. areas. We also have regular runs to the Indianapolis, IN and Springfield, IL areas. For shipments outside of our fleet delivery area we use, depending on the product, Flatbed, Van, and LTL Common Carrier. We also ship small packages via UPS & FedEx at customers request.

Q Do you offer Co-op Advertising or Display Programs for your Authorized Dealers?
A We offer full support for our manufacturers advertising and display programs. Your sales representative can provide you with the programs that are available from our manufacturers. All requests are handled by a dedicated department who processes our dealers claims and credits.
